06
Data retention and deletion
We retain personal data only for as long as needed to provide the DAMARA Services, fulfill the purposes described here, honor our customer agreements, resolve disputes, maintain security records, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type and customer requirements. Data in backups is removed through the normal backup lifecycle and is isolated from ordinary use.
Request account and data deletion
To request deletion of your DAMARA account and associated personal data, email us from the address linked to your account. Include the application name, your username or email, and your organization. We may verify your identity and coordinate with your organization's administrator before completing the request.
Request deletionWhen a valid deletion request is approved, we delete or de-identify the account and associated personal data unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal, regulatory, contractual, or legitimate record-keeping purposes. Deactivation is not treated as deletion. Where your organization controls the account, it may need to authorize deletion of its operational records.
07
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law and organizational controls, you may ask to access, correct, export, restrict, object to the processing of, or delete your personal data. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already performed lawfully and may limit features that require the relevant data.
You can submit a request using the contact details below. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and authority. You may also contact your organization's DAMARA administrator to update account information or permissions.
08
Children's privacy
DAMARA Services are business and maritime-operational tools and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
09
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, data practices, or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised policy at this URL and update the effective date. We will provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
